This charming work featured on the 2001/2002 Portfolio Collection Retreats cover and decorated the Hopley Room at Klippe Rivier Country House, Swellendam. Alison trained at the Michaelis and Ruth Prowse College of Art, has won awards, exhibited widely and was one of 12 artists included in the Kapkunst Cape Art book .
