Framed watercolour, signed – 1996
An evocative picture of the little boy watching his mother doing the washing in a rural township. Pat was an art teacher in the Cape, and in her day exhibited regularly at ‘Art in the Park’ as well as at The Cape Gallery.
The painting hung in the Westby-Nunn Cottage at Klippe Rivier Country House in Swellendam.
